We are seeking an IT/OT Support Engineer with strong hands-on capabilities and a passion for operational excellence to join our team at Spanish Gateways (Barcelona)., As an IT/OT Support Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the health, performance, and reliability of our local IT and OT infrastructure. You will provide frontline support in a dynamic terminal environment and collaborate with both regional and global teams to maintain and improve our systems., * Provide end-user support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and Office applications.

  • Maintain and troubleshoot local IT infrastructure (datacenter racks, cabling, networking, servers).
  • Support IT/OT systems including CCTV, biometric access systems, OCR equipment, and Vehicle Mounted Terminals.
  • Assist with incident resolution and change implementation within agreed SLAs.
  • Contribute to IT projects such as upgrades, migrations, deployments, and system enhancements.
  • Perform routine maintenance and ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards.
  • Collaborate with regional and global teams for hands-on support and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

Do you have experience in VMware?, * Degree in IT Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.

  • Knowledge of VMware, networking, and communications (CISCO certification is a plus).
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes (certification preferred).
  • Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work onsite in rotating daytime shifts (06:00-20:30).
