Job description

We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer with strong WordPress experience to join our growing development team. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing high-performing websites and web applications.

This role requires hands-on experience with WordPress development, custom plugins, API integrations, and modern PHP frameworks.

If you enjoy solving technical challenges, building scalable systems, and working across both back-end and front-end development, this role is for you., * Develop and maintain custom WordPress websites and plugins

  • Build and enhance back-end systems using PHP
  • Work with frameworks such as CodeIgniter or Laravel
  • Develop and consume REST APIs
  • Integrate third-party APIs including payment gateways and external data feeds
  • Optimize MySQL queries and improve application performance
  • Manage WooCommerce-based e-commerce platforms
  • Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
  • Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman
  • Implement unit testing using PHPUnit
  • Use Docker for development and deployment environments
  • Collaborate with QA and cross-functional teams to ensure quality delivery
  • Use Git for version control and participate in code reviews

Requirements

Do you have experience in jQuery?, * Strong experience in PHP development

  • Proven hands-on experience with WordPress (theme and plugin customization)
  • Experience developing custom WordPress plugins
  • Solid understanding of MySQL databases
  • Experience with REST API development and integration
  • Familiarity with CodeIgniter and/or Laravel frameworks
  • Experience with WooCommerce
  • Front-end knowledge: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
  • Experience with Git version control
  • Experience working with Docker (preferred)
  • Knowledge of AWS or Google Cloud (nice to have)

Nice to Have

  • Experience building microservices
  • Exposure to Node.js / Express.js
  • Experience working on high-user e-commerce platforms
  • Familiarity with Bootstrap and responsive design
  • Experience working in Agile environments
