Job description

Reporting to the IT Manager, this office-based hands-on role will see you take overall responsibility for the day-to-day support function and ensuring the availability of all IT systems and services. Coordinating the daily activities of the IT team you will be take charge and lead on managing incidents through to resolution, assign technical resource from within the team. You will maintain an intimate awareness and understanding of incidents allowing effective communication with senior management / customers, managing expectations of key stakeholders. This role would suit someone with a comprehensive range of technical and non-technical skills looking to make their move into management., Acting as a deputy to the IT Manager, your duties will include but are not limited to:

· Manage SLA's

· Oversee day to day activities of the team ensuring that processes run efficiently and effectively

· Supporting users

· Managing external services by 3rd party suppliers

· Updating and maintaining internal systems

· Managing policies and processes and procedures

· Ensure software is updated and patched in line with security standards.

· Ensure business security standards are always maintained.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in Microsoft Office?, Do you have a GCSE?, · Azure

· Intune / Autopilot

· Office 365

· Solid solids /PDM

· Cabling and patching

· Group Polices and Windows 11 deployment.

· Active Directory

· Solids work /PDM experience ideally in a manufacturing environment

· Microsoft operating Systems

· Hardware, Software

· Networking- Routers, Firewalls, Hardware

· ITIL Experience

· 3 years' experience in a 2nd and 3rd Line Team

· Full UK Driver's License Required

· An understanding of Microsoft Business Central whilst desirable is not essential., · GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
