Visual Meaning is a specialist management consultancy based in Oxford. We help organisations make sense of big, complex systems by turning messy information into clear, evidence-based models that teams can share and use.
What you'll be doing
- Interviewing clients and, over time, facilitating workshops
- Analysing interview notes, documents and datasets to extract insight
- Identifying patterns and relationships and structuring information coherently
- Sketching and iterating system maps and visualisations (sometimes live in workshops)
- Using a shared visual asset library and collaborating with illustrators when needed
- Managing your time and budget to deliver projects to a high standard
This role is for you if…
You enjoy making sense of complexity: synthesising messy qualitative information, structuring it into coherent models, and explaining systems clearly to diverse stakeholders.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Project management?, You should be a Consultant, Analyst, Researcher or similar with evidence of:
- Client-facing and/or analytical experience
- Strong structured thinking (sensemaking, synthesis, problem-structuring)
- Ability to distil complex/ambiguous ideas into clear, coherent models
- Confidence seeing the bigger picture and reflecting it back to others
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Visual thinking and information design capability
- Comfortable collaborating with diverse stakeholders
- Project management and client handling experience
Desirable (not essential)
- Portfolio of visual work (welcome but not required)
- Interest in data and comfort using Excel (or equivalent)
- Vector graphics software such as Adobe Illustrator, * Visual Consultancy: 3 years (preferred)
