Job description

We're looking for a Data Insights Lead to provide hands-on analytical leadership while mentoring an early-career analyst. This role combines technical data expertise, people development, and consultative partnership across the People function.

You'll collaborate closely with the Corporate Systems group to align on data sources, Oracle HR system changes, and automation opportunities, ensuring reporting and insights are delivered in a scalable, efficient, and user-friendly way., * Lead, coach, and develop an early-career data analyst

  • Act as a consultative partner to People function teams, clarifying needs and shaping reporting requirements
  • Work closely with Corporate Systems to align on data sources, HR system updates, and automation opportunities
  • Build dashboards, analyses, and data models to support performance, recognition, learning, and wider talent initiatives
  • Write and maintain SQL/Python code to automate recurring tasks and streamline reporting
  • Maintain data quality, documentation, and consistency across outputs
  • Prioritise incoming requests and manage team workload effectively
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, automate reporting, and enhance data flows

Requirements

  • Experience in data analysis, BI, or a related field
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with at least one programming or Scripting language (eg, Python)
  • Familiarity with Oracle or other enterprise HR systems
  • Ability to translate business needs into analytical solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor or lead others
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Understanding of how data supports decision-making within the business

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud data platforms or modern data stack tools
  • Background in HR analytics, performance management, or learning systems
  • Experience building automated workflows or integrations
