Job description

Horbury Joinery Limited is looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Document Controller to join our team. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the timely, accurate and efficient preparation, management and control of project documentation.

You will play a crucial part in maintaining compliance, supporting operational teams, and ensuring all documentation is uploaded, tracked and managed correctly across multiple platforms., * Liaise with Site Managers ahead of site visits to confirm documentation requirements

  • Upload technical submittals via client portals such as Aconex, Asite, and similar systems
  • Monitor, download and distribute comments on Status B and C documents
  • Maintain and update drawing revisions on OneDrive on a weekly basis
  • Upload and manage Health & Safety documentation across Yellow Jacket, Aconex and other systems
  • Work with the Design Manager to resolve drawing issues prior to submission
  • Upload QA documentation to client portals as required by Project Managers
  • Review RDrive with Operations Managers to ensure ongoing compliance
  • Support Operations Managers with the creation and upload of O&M manuals throughout the lifecycle of contracts, The Company has experienced unprecedented growth over the past few years. We have a vast number of employees, and provide support to clients from all over the country.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Organizational skills?, * Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication skills with confidence liaising with site teams
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset
  • Experience in document control (ideally within construction)
  • Knowledge of document management systems such as Aconex, Asite, 4Projects, Procure or Yellow Jacket
  • Experience maintaining cloud-based systems such as OneDrive
  • Experience checking drawings and QA documentation for compliance
  • Experience liaising with Site Managers and coordinating document submissions
  • Familiarity with RDrive QA sheets (Desirable)
  • Experience within joinery manufacturing (Desirable)
