Job description
As a Software Architect, you will serve as the technical heartbeat of a development team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex cloud architecture and high-performance product features. You won't just be writing code; you will be defining the patterns, mentoring the next generation of engineers, and ensuring our microservices ecosystem is scalable, resilient, and developer-friendly.
Your role:
- Technical Stewardship: Lead architectural design and implementation of distributed microservices within a Kubernetes-orchestrated environment.
- Team Mentorship: Act as the "North Star" for a cross-functional Scrum team, conducting deep-dive code reviews and fostering a culture of technical excellence.
- Full-Stack Delivery: Drive the development of responsive web front-ends and robust backend APIs, ensuring seamless integration across the entire stack.
- Quality Engineering: Establish and enforce testing strategies, including TDD, automated regression suites, and contract testing, to ensure our services behave consistently and scale safely.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Treat infrastructure as a first-class citizen by defining AWS resources through code.
- DevOps Advocacy: Streamline developer experience by optimizing CI/CD pipelines and observability tooling to ensure "you build it, you run it" stability.
- Data Strategy: Design and optimize data models across relational (PostgreSQL) and non-relational (Redis) data stores.
