The Senior People Systems Specialist will serve as a key member of the People Technology team, responsible for the analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance of Workday solutions globally. This role acts as an internal consultant to global HR stakeholders and requires deep expertise in Workday-related modules and reporting tools. The Senior Specialist will lead projects, provide advanced-level support, and drive process improvements related to HR technologies. This individual will partner closely with various business units, including Total Rewards, HR Operations and Analytics, Payroll, and Global HR Business Partners, ensuring alignment and optimization of our Workday investment.
What You Can Expect:
- Configure and maintain Workday modules, including but not limited to Time, Absence, Security, Compensation, and Benefits
- Develop and maintain Workday security roles and permissions in compliance with company policies
- Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into Workday configurations
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for Workday configurations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with HR and other business stakeholders globally, including IT, Finance, and external vendors, to optimize Workday.
- Provide advanced-level support for Workday and related HR systems. Investigate and resolve complex issues, design and document solutions, and ensure system performance.
- Support system upgrades and enhancements by assessing impact, making necessary configuration changes, and ensuring seamless transitions.
- Create and maintain comprehensive business and system process documentation, technical specifications, and test scripts.
- Stay current with new and emerging trends in software and hardware, particularly those related to Workday and other HR systems.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Project management?, * 3+ years of hands-on experience with Workday design, configuration, training, and support in a cloud solution environment.
- Proven experience in project management and leading technology implementation initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Demonstrated success in leading technology initiatives.
- Experience with workflow analysis and translating into software functionality.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and initiative.
What Makes You Unique:
- Workday Pro Certification.
- Strong understanding of Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer, calculated fields, and integrations.
- Experience with other HR technologies (e.g., Kenexa, Cornerstone, Salesforce).
