Are you an agile-focused delivery manager? Could you help us transform how we use frontline applications by embracing a more agile way of working within our growing delivery team to better enable us to deliver great products and services with the STAR Programme (Systems Transformation and Realignment)? Can you be the person who helps build a collaborative culture and create a suitable environment for the team, removing obstacles and working closely to turn the product or service vision into reality? You'll need some of the skills of a traditional project manager but with a strong focus on agile and lean tools. You'll bring first rate communication skills, and be able to lead, inspire, motivate and facilitate. What will a Software Delivery Manager's job involve?
- Ensure projects and teams are delivering outcomes to budget and time
- Coach individuals and teams on agile ways of working whilst helping the wider business see the benefits of agile delivery
- Facilitate team planning sessions, daily stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives
- Encourage a culture of innovation focused on adding value
- Support openness and transparency in the team and directorate
- Lead on open-source initiatives
- Remove blockers and obstacles and challenge existing assumptions
- Help define project needs
- Prioritise workload and negotiate with stakeholders
Requirements
Do you have experience in Organizational skills?, * Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Excellent estimation and budget scoping skills
- Coaching, Negotiation and Risk management skills
- A collaborative approach to working
- Experience delivering changes to frontline applications, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Experience of stakeholder engagement
- Results-oriented approach to Systems Transformation and Realignment
- Agile project management qualification e.g. Scrum
Benefits & conditions
Salary: £47,959 to £51,399 per annum per annum, pro rata (plus ILW, if residing & working in London) (DOE) Hours: 35 per week Flexible (Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm), * Holidays: 36 days annual leave (including bank holidays) + option to buy 5 extra days.
