Job description
We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused IT First Line Support Technician to join our team based at Cardington, Bedfordshire. As the first point of contact for IT support, you will play a vital role in keeping our systems and colleagues working effectively. You will provide high-quality technical assistance, resolve issues efficiently, and contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of our IT function across multiple locations., Provide first line technical support via phone, email, and ticketing systems Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and basic network issues Set up and configure workstations, printers, and IT equipment Create and manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions Install, update, and support business applications and systems Maintain accurate records of incidents, solutions, and IT assets Escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior support or external providers Support colleagues across multiple sites and occasional depot visitsAbout you
Requirements
Proven experience in an IT support role or strong technical foundation Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and basic networking Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required
