Job description
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior LQA Tester to play a key role in delivering high-quality localized gaming experiences. As a Senior LQA Tester, you will act as a language authority and mentor, ensuring linguistic excellence while supporting team development and project delivery. This is not just a testing role it is a position of ownership, leadership, and impact. Key ResponsibilitiesLinguistic & Functional Testing
- Perform linguistic, textual, and functional testing of localized video game content
- Identify, document, and report bugs using tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, DevTrack, etc.)
- Ensure linguistic accuracy, consistency, tone, and cultural appropriateness
Language Ownership
- Act as the main point of reference for your assigned language
- Maintain glossaries, style guides, and language standards
- Ensure alignment with brand voice and localization guidelines
Team Leadership & Support
- Mentor and guide junior testers
- Provide linguistic support and feedback to team members
- Assist in onboarding and training new hires
Project Coordination
- Lead small to medium-sized LQA projects when required
- Act as a communication bridge between testers, project managers, and clients
- Support resource planning and workflow improvements
Operational Contribution
- Assist Team Leads and management in process improvementsEvaluate language tests as part of the recruitment process
Requirements
Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Native-level fluency in one of the following languages: French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian, or Brazilian Portuguese
- Strong command of English (written and spoken)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in LQA testing or localization QA
- Proven experience mentoring or supporting other testers
- Familiarity with bug-tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, DevTrack)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proactive mindset with leadership qualities, * Previous experience as a Senior LQA Tester
- Background in Localization, Linguistics, Translation, or Game Development
- Experience with localization tools (memoQ, SDL Trados, Xbench)
- Experience in game, software, or app localization
- Familiarity with automation tools for LQA
- Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, Localization, or related field
