Network Engineering Professional

You are responsible for contributing to the design and deployment of new bespoke systems as well as supporting and maintaining existing ones. You should also contribute to innovation and development of new products, and process improvement initiatives. This role will require working as part of a team, supporting colleagues and collaboration with customers.

This job role is based in London, Ipswich, Cheltenham and Manchester. Onsite (5 days office based). Monday-Friday 37.5 hours. DV Security Clearance is required. Must have lived in UK for 10+ years to obtain clearance.

What you'll be doing

• Supports the delivery of routine daily activities and is accountable for system design, build, testing, validation, maintenance, and ongoing support of all network infrastructure components.

• Assists the implementation of network technology that aligns to customers' strategic direction for enterprise and remote site connectivity.

• Supports the installation, testing, and setup of new network hardware both physical and virtual (firewalls, routers, switching, monitoring) hardware and software.

• Executes engineering efforts to ensue currency and supportability of networking technology.

• Collates data, reports and information supporting technology lifecycle planning, including contributing to the development of the technology roadmaps and Network Health Assessments.

Do you have experience in Terraform?, * Service management experience within the IT industry

• Ability to take responsibility, ownership and autonomy of delegated platform operations and deliverables
• Cisco CCNA (R&S) Certified or equivalent experience
• Design, test, delivery and/or support of Routing, Switching and Firewall platforms

Desired Experience:

• Cisco CCNA (R&S and/or Security) Certified or higher
• Cisco ISE
• Cisco Firepower and FMC
• Scripting, e.g. Terraform/Python/Ansible
