Job description

This role is focused on design, implementation, and optimisation of enterprise network infrastructure. The position covers both engineering and architectural responsibilities, including reviewing existing designs, producing documentation, and supporting network operations. You will primarily work across Cisco routing & switching environments, with exposure to Palo Alto Firewalls, supporting both design and operational activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and review network architecture documentation including HLD and LLD designs.
  • Engineer and support network infrastructure across Cisco-based environments.
  • Review existing network designs and documentation to identify optimisation opportunities.
  • Support full life cycle delivery including architecture, engineering, and operational support.
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues across routing, switching, wireless, and Firewall layers.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
  • Work with infrastructure teams and external providers to maintain network stability and performance.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including routing, switching, VLANs, OSPF, wireless, and Firewalls.
  • Strong experience with Cisco networking technologies.
  • Exposure to Palo Alto Firewalls or willingness to develop expertise in the platform.
  • Experience working at CCNP-level capability (certification not required).
  • Experience reviewing and producing network design documentation (HLD/LLD).
  • Wireless networking exposure (HP Aruba experience beneficial but not essential).
  • Familiarity with structured change management processes (ITIL desirable).
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical capability across enterprise networks.
  • Experience working with external service providers.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
