Recruitment Consultant - Robotics & Automation Sector

You will join a high-performing team placing permanent candidates across a range of specialist disciplines within the UK Robotics & Automation market. You will be responsible for developing existing client relationships while also identifying and winning new business, building your own desk in one of the most exciting and rapidly evolving recruitment niches in the UK right now.

Typical placements span four core disciplines:

• Robotics Engineering - Robot programmers, mechanical design engineers, and integration specialists
• Automation & Controls - PLC/SCADA engineers, controls engineers, and automation architects
• Systems Integration - Project engineers, commissioning specialists, and technical leads
• AI & Emerging Technology - AI technicians, machine learning engineers, and smart systems developers

To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate:

• Proven recruitment experience within the UK Robotics, Automation, or wider engineering market - this is non-negotiable
• A demonstrable track record of winning new clients and growing billing desks
• Experience placing permanent candidates within technical, engineering, or technology disciplines
• Confidence working across multiple specialisms within the automation ecosystem
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills
• A self-motivated, commercially driven mindset with a hunger to earn
• Familiarity with manufacturing, industrial technology, or process automation is highly desirable
