Job description

The HCM Support Lead plays a key role in keeping our Oracle HCM platform running smoothly day-to-day, acting as the go to expert for system stability, configuration control, and complex issue resolution. You'll take ownership of monitoring system health, troubleshooting technical problems, managing incidents, and ensuring payroll and business operations remain uninterrupted. Alongside this, you'll oversee access governance assigning and maintaining roles, conducting reviews, and supporting key security tasks while also guiding the business through quarterly Oracle releases by reviewing patch impacts, validating functionality, and coordinating defect resolution.

This role also carries responsibility for maintaining strong data integrity and compliance across the HCM landscape. You'll ensure consistent configuration, support audit readiness through clear documentation, and carry out regular checks to keep data accurate and secure. It's a position for someone who enjoys problem-solving, improving processes, and being a trusted partner to both technical teams and the wider business.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Oracle HCM?, * Proven experience supporting and configuring Oracle HCM (or another large-scale HR system), with a strong understanding of how to keep systems running smoothly.

  • Confident troubleshooting skills, with the ability to get to the root of complex issues and resolve them efficiently.
  • Solid experience managing role-based access and maintaining robust security controls across the platform.
  • Comfortable working within structured incident, change, and release management processes.
  • Able to collaborate effectively with third-party support partners to drive fixes and improvements through to completion.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a natural focus on data accuracy, clean configuration, and overall system integrity.

Benefits & conditions

In addition to a competitive basic salary, our benefits also include:

  • Wellbeing Support: 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme and GP service plus an in-house Mental Health First Aider programme
  • Additional Reward: bonus scheme based on business performance
  • Extra Leave: Birthday off and option to buy 3 more days
  • Family Support: Enhanced maternity/paternity leave
  • Financial Security: Life assurance and pension scheme
