Job description
Strategy and Roadmap
- Define and execute the learning technology roadmap aligned to enterprise HR and Digital strategy, prioritising initiatives by value, risk, capacity, and technical feasibility.
- Champion digital learning innovations AI driven recommendations, skills inference, adaptive learning, and learning analytics to improve adoption, completion, and time to competence.
Global Program and Project Leadership
- Lead end to end delivery for platform implementations, major releases, migrations, and decommissions using hybrid Agile Scrum and Kanban and scaled governance.
- Build detailed program plans charters, milestones, stage gates, financials, benefits realisation and cross functional dependencies HR, IT, Cybersecurity, Legal, Compliance.
Stakeholder Management and Change
- Serve as the senior point of contact for global HR COEs, business leaders, and regional HRIS teams, translating needs into measurable objectives and success metrics.
- Drive structured change management PROSCI or equivalent, communications, and enablement for administrators, instructors, and learners to accelerate adoption and reduce support demand.
Platform Ownership and Architecture
- Own the learning application lifecycle for CSOD and connected platforms implementation, configuration, upgrades, feature enablement, and sunsetting with clear SLAs and OLAs.
- Ensure robust integrations and data flows with other HRIS systems.
- Partner with enterprise architecture, security, and data teams to enforce reference architectures, secure design, and performance standards.
Process Transformation and Operations Excellence
- Redesign learning processes curriculum management, certification, compliance learning, audit and reporting for efficiency and control, leveraging automation RPA, templatisation, and self service.
- Establish operational runbooks, incident and problem management, and knowledge articles to improve first contact resolution and reduce mean time to restore.
Data, Analytics, and AI
- Pilot and productise AI use cases content curation, summarisation, search, skills graph, and personalised pathways with responsible AI guardrails and privacy by design.
Vendor and Budget Management
- Lead commercial negotiations, SOWs, and renewals with platform and service partners.
- Track budgets and benefits, ensuring delivery to cost, schedule, and scope with transparent reporting to the Learning IT Capability Owner and PMO.
Compliance and Security
- Ensure adherence to SCORM, xAPI, AICC, GDPR, data residency, and InfoSec requirements including access controls, audit trails, and vulnerability remediation in partnership with Cybersecurity., Success Metrics
- On time and on budget delivery of roadmap initiatives.
- Platform stability and performance SLA adherence, incident reduction, change success rate.
- Adoption and business impact learning completion, time to competence, content ROI, learning NPS.
- Compliance performance audit pass rate, regulatory readiness.
- Operational efficiency reductions in manual effort, improved admin productivity, and cost savings.
Working Model
- Global stakeholder coverage with flexibility to support key time zones.
- Occasional travel for program workshops, vendor sessions, and stakeholder engagement
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Learning Technologies, or related field.
- 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in Learning and Development technology or HRIS, with at least 3 years leading global programs or large scale platform initiatives.
- Deep hands on experience with Cornerstone OnDemand or equivalent LMS LXP administration, configuration, and release management.
- Demonstrated success in stakeholder management across senior HR, business leaders, and IT, with strong influencing and negotiation skills.
- Proven track record in systems integration
- Strong understanding of e learning standards SCORM, xAPI and learning data flows to LRS and analytics platforms.
- Expertise in Agile delivery Scrum, Kanban and enterprise governance stage gate, PMO, benefits tracking.
- Excellent communication, executive ready storytelling, and structured problem solving.
Preferred Certifications
- PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner for program and project leadership.
- Agile Scrum Master or SAFe certification.
- ITIL 4 Foundation or higher for service management.
- Cornerstone OnDemand Administrator or relevant vendor certifications.
- AI focused credentials such as Microsoft Certified Azure AI Engineer Associate, Azure AI Fundamentals, or equivalent Google Cloud or AWS AI ML.
- Data and analytics credentials Power BI, Tableau, or Azure Data Fundamentals.
