AI, Data & Integration Engineer (Workato / Salesforce)

Tasks

• Design and develop enterprise integration solutions using Workato.

What you will do

Integration and Automation

• Design and development of enterprise integration solutions with Workato

• Implementation of end-to-end process automations across system and organizational boundaries

• Building and operating data pipelines between cloud systems (ERP, CRM, HR, databases, APIs)

• Event-driven architectures and real-time integrations

AI & Agentic Systems

• Development of AI-supported workflows and agentic AI solutions based on Workato, Anthropic Claude, Salesforce Agentforce or Microsoft Foundry

• Design and implementation of RAG architectures for enterprise contexts

• Integration of LLM capabilities into existing business processes and system landscapes

• Prompt engineering and evaluation of AI outputs in productive environments

Data Engineering

• Modeling and transformation of business data (ELT/ETL) for analytical and operational purposes

Salesforce

• Technical support of Salesforce projects (Commerce Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud)

• Integration of Salesforce into the overall system architecture via Workato and APIs

Cross-functional

• Close collaboration with business stakeholders to translate requirements from the customer experience area (sales, commerce, service, marketing) into technical solutions

• Support in customer workshops, technical consulting, and code reviews

• 3-5 years in integration, automation, or data engineering required.

• Experience with iPaaS platforms like Workato preferred.

• Strong communication skills in German and English essential., * At least 3-5 years of experience in integration, automation, or data engineering in enterprise environments

• Proven practical experience with iPaaS platforms (ideally Workato, alternatively MuleSoft, Boomi)

• Solid understanding of API design (REST, GraphQL, Webhooks) and modern data formats (JSON, XML)

• Project experience with AI/LLM technologies (prompt engineering, API integration, RAG basics)

• In-depth knowledge of Salesforce products: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud and/or Marketing Cloud

• Proven skills in Python, JavaScript, or SQL for data transformations

• Relevant Workato and/or Salesforce certifications are an advantage

• Analytical thinking, structured problem solving, and personal responsibility

• Strong communication skills in German and English
