Job description

We are looking for new engineers in order to cover the increase of workload due to current new programs.

We are looking for Simulation Software Engineers to reinforce our Future Capabilities Simulation team in Getafe, who will take part in the definition and implementation of complex simulation assets for all programs. You will be part of the core team to develop graphical user interfaces for multiple products and programs in the scope of simulation and virtualization.

You will work in an international environment which requires close coordination with internal colleagues, stakeholders and external partner companies. As members of an already existing team that works in an Agile way of working, an Agile mind-set is a must for the position.

Your tasks consist mainly of:

  • Design and develop Human Machine Interface software for our simulation solutions.

  • Derive system requirements from operational requirements.

  • Design architecture of software modules for new simulator functionalities

Requirements

  • Degree (or Master Degree) in Software /Aeronautical/ Telecommunication Engineering or a related discipline
  • Web technology
  • Javascript software development. Front-end and back-end (full-stack).
  • Knowledge on ES6, Web Components, Proxies, JS Async, Workers, HTML Canvas Graphic.
  • Web page design HTML and CSS.
  • Knowledge in nodejs and ExpressJS framework.
  • Knowledge in any common template engie (as Pug, Mustache, Dust, ...)
  • Knowledge in GIS library as Openlayers, Cesium, MapLibre-GPL. Valuable knowledge on GIS servers (as Geoserver).
  • Knowledge in Electron framework.
  • Valuable knowledge on WebRTC, ffmpeg and/or gstreamer.
  • Valuable knowledge on WebGL.

We would like a profile with capabilities on standalone applications too.

  • HMI development on technology as Qt.

  • Software knowledge on C++ and/or Python.

In addition:

  • Experience in the aviation / simulation / defence industry would be beneficial

  • Good English skills (B2/C1)

  • Excellent skills in Software Developments.
