We are currently interviewing this year's intake for a potential candidate to take part In our SharePoint developer apprenticeship program. Successful applicants will have the chance of working together within our dedicated team of SharePoint developers. You will work towards your Software Developer (level 3 or 4, depending on experience) certificate, this being completed predominantly online, with some self study and exams taking place at a local test center when necessary. The Software Developer course includes two core modules and an internationally recognised vendor qualification which will assist you in becoming a knowledgeable and adept SharePoint developer. These will include the following content; Software Development Methodologies, Software language, BCS Systems Development Essentials, Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 and Developing ASP.NET MVC Web Applications.
You will be working within our small SharePoint team of dedicated developers. As a member of this department you will be tasked with working on a variety of different SharePoint projects. These projects will involve; coding new solutions and providing ongoing support, but also the development and maintenance of existing applications. Weekdays, 9.00AM to 5.30PM with a total of 1 hour break per day.
As part of your supportive role, you will also be required to:
- Log calls in our call management system,
- Resolve IT issues remotely, over the phone and on site,
- Setting up OneDrive on devices
- Adding, removing and modifying users and groups in SharePoint

Experience in C# or strong Object Oriented Programming knowledge and the desire to pick up and learn C#.

Web development knowledge/experience (e.g. HTML, CSS & JavaScript).

3 A Levels (Grade A-C) or equivalent.

Math and English GCSE C or above required. Other

Evidence of personal projects/programming in own time highly desirable.
