Job description

Leading end-to-end architecture for dental systems in low-connectivity or offline environments.-Designing secure, resilient solutions covering PMS/EHR, imaging, clinical workflows, and data synchronisation. -Defining offline-first and edge patterns (local data stores, sync/replication, store-and-forward). -Working closely with clinical, engineering, security and programme stakeholders to shape technical designs. -Producing architectural artefacts (HLDs, LLDs, data flows, security models, integration patterns).Guiding engineering teams through implementation, assurance and testing stages. -Evaluating vendors/technologies and supporting procurement activities (requirements, ITN, vendor selection). -Supporting accreditation and assurance processes where required.

Requirements

Proven Solution Architect experience within dental IT or similar clinical system domains. -Strong knowledge of dental PMS/EHR, imaging (e.g., DICOM) and clinical workflows. -Hands-on experience designing disconnected/edge or offline-first solutions and data sync models. -Understanding of secure, regulated or defence environments and associated constraints. -Solid background in cloud, hybrid or edge architectures and clinical data management. -Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. -(Desirable) Experience with defence or public-sector healthcare, interoperability standards (FHIR/HL7/DICOM), or deployable/mobile clinical systems.

  • 598 p/d Outside IR35
  • 1-2 Days a week in Wiltshire, the rest is WFH
  • 6 Month Contract with extensions likely
  • Candidates must currently hold SC Clearance
