Tasks
- Oversee software distribution using Microsoft SCCM.
- Manage backup systems, including Veeam and tape libraries.
- Support Citrix operations and provide 2nd-level support., The High Court of the Canton of Zurich is the appellate court in civil and criminal matters and also includes the commercial court. In addition, it is responsible for the independent judicial administration of the Zurich civil and criminal courts as well as the notary system.
The IT Courts and Notaries with around 45 employees ensure the reliable operation of the entire IT infrastructure for the High Court, the district courts, and the notaries of the Canton of Zurich. The infrastructure (all "on premise") for nearly 2,000 workstations is based on Citrix with thin clients.

IT Systems Engineer (80-100%)
Tasks
- Responsibility for software distribution (Microsoft SCCM)
- Responsibility for the backup system (Veeam) including tape library
- Responsibility for the software equipment of the thin clients (eLux, Scout)
- Responsibility for virus protection (Trend Micro)
- Responsibility for operational processes in the IAM environment
- Support in the operation of Citrix, Exchange, SQL cluster, and SharePoint
- Participation in the provision of basic systems for specialist applications
- 2nd level support and operational activities within the team
Requirements
- Completed IT training in system technology or platform development.
- Strong experience with Windows systems and IAM processes.
- Good German skills (C1) and understanding of Swiss German., * Professional certificate in system and network technology
- At least five years of professional experience with a focus on Windows systems
- Interest in scalable system infrastructures
- Willingness to perform on-call duty
- Experience with Linux, containerization, and open source is an advantage
- Very good German skills (at least level C1) as well as understanding of Swiss German
