We are looking for a skilled Modelling & Simulation Systems Engineer to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will work alongside top-tier design professionals and contribute to innovative, mission-critical projects.
Your mission: As an experienced engineering professional, your responsibilities will include:
-
Lead technical planning, system integration, and verification and validation (V&V) activities for simulated land military vehicle platforms and mission systems.
-
Conduct system and technical analyses to support the design, development, integration, and sustainment of vehicle models, digital twins, and simulated subsystems (e.g., communications, sensors, EW, and weapon systems).
-
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within simulation environments, including network configurations, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) setups, and model integration challenges, while maintaining configuration-managed baselines.
-
Develop and execute validation plans to ensure simulation fidelity, accuracy, and correlation with real-world vehicle performance.
-
Create and implement preventive maintenance and update plans for simulation frameworks, databases, models, and supporting lab infrastructure to ensure continuous operational readiness.
Requirements
-
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a related field, along with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience; or a Master's degree in a related discipline with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience.
-
Experience supporting projection, display, and visualization systems, as well as vehicle crew station hardware, electronic interfaces, and associated mechanical assemblies within simulation environments.
-
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Linux and Microsoft operating systems, including Microsoft-based tools and products.
-
3-5 years of hands-on experience installing, configuring, modifying, and integrating simulation system software and hardware.
-
At least 3 years of experience in distributed modeling and simulation (DM&S) environments and complex IT/AV system infrastructures.
Desired Skills:
-
Experience supporting high-fidelity simulation systems operating across multiple security classification levels.
-
Background in system design and development to support experimentation, test events, and capability assessments.
-
Strong understanding of network architecture, implementation, and troubleshooting, including familiarity with simulation-specific communication protocols.
-
Experience performing technical analyses to support the design, installation, integration, sustainment, and operational use of devices, systems, and subsystems.
-
Demonstrated ability to identify and implement effective solutions to complex technical issues, including system, network, and infrastructure reconfiguration.
-
Proven ability to coordinate and lead projects or initiatives across multiple functional disciplines and diverse stakeholder groups.
