SAP AM Analyst

We are looking for a SAP AM Consultant to join a dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate has solid experience in implementing, supporting and optimising SAP Asset Management (AM) processes and will play a key role in improving business processes for our clients.

Assignment context The SAP AM Consultant will be working on-site at our end client as part of their business and IT teams, while being contracted and supported by ITProposal B.V.

Responsibilities

Business needs analysis

• Work closely with the project team and business stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and propose suitable solutions in both Asset Management and SAP.

Configuration and customisation

• Provide implementation guidance for AM and SAP processes to ensure correct execution of decisions taken in both Asset Management and the related systems.
• Configure and adjust SAP AM-related settings in line with business requirements.
• Ensure functional and technical documentation is updated accordingly.

Training and knowledge transfer

• Train end users and internal teams on new SAP processes and functionalities.
• Document and share best practices and lessons learned.

• University degree in IT, business, engineering or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a consultant in Asset Management, SAP and/or financial management, with a proven track record in implementations and projects.

Technical skills

• Strong expertise in Asset Management (AM).
• Strong expertise in SAP (AM/EAM and related functional areas).
• Expertise in management control / financial controlling.
• Good knowledge of integration with other SAP modules (e.g. MM, PM, FI/CO).
• Strong skills in data analysis and use of SAP tools for reporting.
