Senior Quality Engineer IT Invoicing (Porto)

• Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive testing strategies for software quality, performance and reliability
• Design, create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases and test scripts based on complex product requirements
• Perform thorough manual testing to identify defects, ensure functionality and validate user experience, including exploratory testing
• Identify, document and track defects, working closely with development teams
• Mentor and support junior Quality Assurance team members, fostering a culture of learning
• Collaborate with developers, product managers and stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery
• Design and execute complex performance tests, analyzing results and recommending improvements

• Degree in IT, Computer Science or related field, advanced certifications (e.g., ISTQB) highly desirable
• Extensive experience as a Quality Engineer or similar Quality Assurance role, with deep understanding of software testing methodologies
• Advanced proficiency in automated testing tools (e.g., Cypress, JUnit) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript). Experience with performance testing tools is essential
• Exceptional attention to detail and methodical approach to testing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead Quality Assurance initiatives and mentor junior team members
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration
• Familiarity with invoicing, logistics or supply chain industry is advantageous
• Good knowledge in English
