Job description
Network Operations Engineer - AWS, Terraform, Python/Bash Cloud focused Network Engineer required to support the operation and scalability of our clients global AWS network. This role focuses on providing high-quality operational cloud networking engineering & support, within a best in class AWS environment. You will work alongside senior engineers and architects to ensure a reliable, well-governed production environment while growing your skills in platform engineering. It's our view that this this role would be particularly well suited to an experienced Network or Cloud engineer looking to develop their Network Automation skills, with this aligning to the overall Infrastructure strategy over the next 1 - 3 years., * Deploy & Automate: Implement network changes via Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and develop automation tooling using Python or Bash.
- Operations: Manage CI/CD pipelines, execute controlled changes, and maintain runbooks.
- Support: Resolve stakeholder tickets and troubleshoot connectivity issues using AWS and third-party tools.
- Risk Management: Perform impact analysis and testing to ensure high availability and successful rollbacks.
Requirements
Your Skills
- Experience: 2-4 years in cloud, infrastructure, or network operations.
- AWS Networking: Practical knowledge of VPC, Transit Gateway, and Route53.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Terraform, Python/Bash, and Core Networking (IPv4, DNS, Routing).
- Mindset: Strong troubleshooting skills and an understanding of production-risk environments.
- Desirable: Experience with CI/CD, Load Balancers (ALB/NLB), IPAM, or CloudWatch/Grafana.
