Job description

As the Business Support Manager, you will be the heartbeat of the organisation, coordinating a variety of operational, financial, and strategic activities. Your expertise will serve as a central point of contact for senior leadership, ensuring effective governance and decision-making across the organisation., Business Analytics & Reporting:

  • Develop and communicate business analytics to spotlight improvement opportunities.
  • Produce operational and financial reports to facilitate senior leadership decisions.
  • Partner with analytics teams to enhance data accuracy and increase automation.

Financial Management & Forecasting:

  • Support financial planning, budgeting, and performance monitoring.
  • Analyse financial performance, identifying key trends and variances.
  • Collaborate with Finance partners for P&L oversight and transparency.

Operational Excellence & Process Improvement:

  • Drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual workflows.
  • Support senior executives on strategic projects and governance routines.
  • Identify opportunities for new tools to boost operational effectiveness.

Leadership Communications & Connectivity:

  • Communicate GMO's strategic priorities for clarity and alignment.
  • Coordinate management meetings and governance forums.
  • Partner with HR and Operations on workforce planning and compliance.

Risk & Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to operational risk frameworks.
  • Support risk identification and mitigation planning.
  • Align business management activities with regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Solid financial acumen with experience in forecasting and budgeting.
  • Strong understanding of P&L management and financial reporting.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including data modelling and financial analysis.
  • Exceptional data analysis capabilities with a knack for translating complex data into insights.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, particularly in supporting senior leadership.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities while delivering high-quality outputs.
  • Excellent communication skills.
