Job description
The successful candidate will work within a dynamic software testing team, as part of a large public sector programme. The role involves the automated testing of a number of high-profile applications and web frameworks, executing test scripts, writing test plans, and working alongside software development teams to ensure successful product delivery within an Agile environment. Testing back-end and front-end functionalities in conjunction with the user case, and planning for test strategies alongside managers and senior team members.

Requirements
A strong QA Test background, with skills ideally focused on automated testing
Experience of utilising automation test tools such as Selenium, Postman and Cucumber
Previous Java testing experience would be preferred
Ability to test API's and web applications
Previous Python knowledge would be desirable
Experience gained in the public sector / central government would be advantageous
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
