You will work cross-functionally with product, engineering, marketing, and leadership to answer our most pressing questions and turn complex data into actionable recommendations.You will be reporting to the Head of Business Operations & Analytics with the option to work remotely or in-person in our downtown Nashville office.What You'll DoAnalyze and interpret large, complex datasetsDefine, build, and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Build, maintain, and iterate on Looker dashboards and underlying LookML data models to ensure scalable, accurate, and self-serve reporting across the organizationManage and version-control data models, SQL scripts, and analytical code using Git/GitHub, following engineering best practices such as branching, pull requests, and code reviews.Conduct deep-dive analyses on user behavior, funnels, and customer segmentationDesign, execute, and analyze A/B testsMeasure campaign effectiveness, analyze Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), and model
Requirements
Lifetime Value (LTV)Work with Engineering to ensure data accuracy and reliabilityTranslate complex findings into clear narratives for technical and non-technical stakeholdersWho You AreYou have 2-5 years of experience in a data analyst or business intelligence roleYou have expert-level SQL, capable of writing complex, optimized queries (e.g., in Snowflake)Proven experience creating dashboards using tools like Looker, Apache Superset, or similarProficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib) for statistical analysisStrong understanding of statistical principles (e.g., hypothesis testing) and experience with A/B testingPreferred QualificationsExperience in a fintech, banking, or high-growth startup environmentFamiliarity with data warehousing concepts (e.g., Snowflake)Exposure to modern data stack tools (dbt, Fivetran)Compensation $70,000 - $90,000Note this is a range and we take in a variety of factors when determining total compensation for the position.How we care for our team
