Job description
This is an office-based position in Kidlington with regular visits to customers across Oxfordshire and surrounding areas.
The successful candidate will provide technical support both remotely and in person. Around 80% of the work will involve supporting residential customers, so excellent customer service and clear communication skills are essential.
You will work as part of our support team helping customers resolve technical issues, maintaining systems, and delivering a high standard of service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support via phone, email, remote tools and in person
- Visit customers across Oxfordshire to resolve technical issues
- Troubleshoot issues involving:
- Windows and macOS
- Microsoft 365
- Printers and peripherals
- Basic networking (DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi)
- Log and manage tickets accurately within the service desk system
- Escalate complex issues when required
- Support device setups, onboarding tasks and general maintenance
- Deliver a professional and friendly customer experience at all times
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in macOS?, * Minimum 1 year experience in an IT support role
- Good working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365
- Understanding of basic networking principles
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced MSP environment
Applicants must also:
- Be 21 years or older (vehicle insurance requirement)
- Hold a full clean UK driving licence
Desirable Skills
- Experience working within an MSP
- Familiarity with RMM tools and ticketing systems
- Knowledge of Azure AD, Intune or cloud platforms
- Cyber security awareness
- Hardware diagnostics or repair experience
- Mobile device repair experience
