Job description
We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Infrastructure DevOps Engineer to join our team in a hybrid capacity based in Norwich. This role focuses on building, delivering, and supporting scalable cloud solutions while contributing to platform engineering and project delivery within an Agile environment., * Deliver Jira stories in line with sprint and project plans
- Take ownership of assigned objectives and technical deliverables
- Design, build, and deliver platform and project-based solutions
- Adopt and utilise appropriate tools and technologies to meet team goals
- Organise, facilitate, and actively participate in meetings and Scrum ceremonies
- Contribute to deployment and implementation planning
Requirements
- Strong experience with AWS infrastructure and networking services, including Control Tower, AWS Organizations, Service Control Policies, VPC, Cloud Factory, and machine image management
- Expertise across key AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudFormation, Step Functions, SSM, IAM, Security services, Backup, ACM, and KMS
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (eg, Datadog, PagerDuty, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, SIEM integrations)
- Additional Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, etc.)
- Familiarity with tools such as Squid Proxy, Trend Micro, HashiCorp Vault, Git, and Groovy
- Understanding of DNS (A and CNAME records), Firewalls, routing, NACLs, NAT, Active Directory, encryption, and SSL
