To support colleagues and business processes with their IT requirements while acting as a deputy to the IT Manager. The role is responsible for ensuring that the organisation's IT infrastructure is modern, secure, reliable, and efficient., IT Infrastructure

Design, deploy, and manage servers and related services from vendors such as Dell and HP.

Design, deploy, and maintain networks and cloud services (e.g., Microsoft Azure).

Deploy and manage virtualisation technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V.

Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions.
-
Manage and optimise storage solutions including SAN and NAS systems.

Develop and maintain infrastructure automation scripts and tools.

Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades and migrations with minimal downtime.

Assist in the development and enforcement of IT policies and procedures.

Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance the IT infrastructure. IT Operations

Monitor and maintain laptops, peripherals, and display equipment across the business.

Provide technical support and guidance to end users.

Monitor and maintain system performance, availability, and security.

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.

Collaborate with colleagues to support business applications and services.

Ensure compliance with company security policies and industry best practices.

Maintain documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.

Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends. Role Requirements
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years' experience in IT Infrastructure or IT Operations roles.

Relevant certifications such as: o CompTIA Network+ o Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator

Strong knowledge of server and network administration.

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
-
Proficiency with virtualisation technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
-
Understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
