Programme Manager - Software Development/Engineering - Digital CMS | Agile, with excellent stakeholder Management required by a large global firm.

You will lead end-to-end delivery assurance and benefits realisation across a major Content Management System (CMS) domain within a large-scale digital marketing platform. Overseeing five cross-functional scrum teams, you will ensure initiatives are governed effectively, risks and dependencies are actively managed, and delivery remains aligned to strategy and measurable business outcomes., * Own programme outcomes, translating strategic priorities into coherent roadmaps aligned to delivery capacity, OKRs, and rolling wave planning cycles

• Establish and operate programme governance including steering forums, RAID management, change control, and auditable reporting
• Manage high-priority cross-programme initiatives (eg Exhibitor Hub), coordinating across delivery managers, Product Owners, Engineering Tech Leads, BAs, UX, and QA
• Proactively identify and resolve cross-team dependencies, risks, and blockers; escalate decisively to senior stakeholders
• Oversee external offshore partners and suppliers, ensuring quality and delivery commitments are met
• Drive process improvement across delivery teams, standardising ways of working, tools, and governance compliance
• Ensure benefits and outcomes are tracked post-delivery and successfully transitioned into business-as-usual operations

• Extensive programme management or senior delivery leadership experience within complex software development/software engineering/DevOps environments
• Proven experience managing multiple scrum teams simultaneously across multi-workstream programmes
• Strong digital programme delivery background, ideally involving CMS or marketing platforms
• Scaled Agile/SAFe knowledge beneficial; experience in hybrid or evolving delivery models at scale essential
• Advanced RAID, dependency, and financial management skills with a data-led, outcome-focused approach
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior/executive level
• Experience with offshore third-party partners highly desirable
• Formal programme/project management accreditation (eg MSP, PMP) advantageous
