The successful candidate will become our newest TaxTechnology Assistant Manager within our 'data pipeline and platform delivery'capability group. Working in our London, Birmingham or Chelmsford office you will play a pivotal role in supporting the continued development and increasing deployment of our client-focused solutions. You will be key in the end-to-end delivery of multiple tax technology and automation solutions, working closely with our specialist data analytics and implementation service teams to bring together the best we have to offer to deliver high-quality and technically robust outcomes. In addition to maintaining and delivering current offerings, this team breaks new ground in the design/development of new solutions - taking advantage of the wide variety or technology available at RSM to solve client problems on a global scale. Your work will focus on the ongoing deployment of or RSM Tax InSight global compliance management platform (in addition to other selected client solutions). Active duties will include the mapping and deployment of data pathways within the system, set-up of new client environments, initial population and customisation of large volumes of client database records for action tracking, ongoing PoweBIdashboard development and ad-hoc client support. You will be a visible member of client engagement teams as a system specialist, where your communication and organisation skills will be demonstrated alongside other high-end RSM Professionals. Additionally, you will train and upskill junior team members in data analytics and automation technologies. In addition to developing and delivering our client-facing tax technology service offering, you will have the opportunity to play an instrumental role in the commercial deployment of technology enhanced tools and solutions to support our core service lines across all taxes. As such, your customer service skills will be applied with colleagues and clients alike. - A strong ability to learn new systems quickly * Awareness of wider tax technology environment, emerging technologies and client needs * Experience in delivering demonstrations * The ability to work effectively as part of a multi-location team, whilst also integrating with local and regional colleagues in offices * Openness to new ideas and seeking input from diverse sources to maximise team potential Requirements * Proven ability to work well with clients and meet their needs. * Experience and knowledge of tax compliance processes and their interaction with data drawn from Financial Reporting or ERP systems. * Practical knowledge of technology support structures and risk management frameworks. * Experience with relational database design and best practice. * Familiarity with Agile development. * Experience of working with data infrastructure and incident response processes. * Familiarity with data analytics solutions and processes. * Awareness of data acquisition methods (SFTP, API, etc). * Experience of Power BI or other data visualisation products. * Awareness of AI solutions and technologies, plus a willingness to learn more around the usage of these for both internal and client solutions. * Proficiency with typical business technologies such as Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Fabric, etc. Desirable * ATT or equivalent technical qualification. * DITT or other relevant tax technology qualification. * Alteryx qualification. * Familiarity with Microsoft Azure DevOps * Strong understanding of classical ML algorithms. * A Data Analytics and/or Data Science background. * Experience in developing technologies (AI, ML, RPA, etc). * Knowledge of common Reporting or ERP systems.
