Experience in a data-centric role such as Data Engineer, Business Analyst with a strong technical focus, or Data Analyst, within the banking or financial services industry, with exposure to big data applications. Demonstrated experience in the regulatory reporting domain, understanding its unique data requirements and challenges. Proven proficiency in data analysis, data modeling, and developing complex data workflows using KNIME and advanced SQL. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of dissecting complex EUC structures and designing effective remediation strategies. Ability to communicate complex technical and analytical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Excellent documentation and technical writing skills for articulating data processes, solution designs, and regulatory compliance. A collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Self-motivated and able to work independently, taking ownership of tasks from analysis through to implementation and support, while maintaining rigorous attention to detail. Optional Skills: Experience with scripting languages like Linux/Bash or Python for data manipulation, automation, or data quality checks. Familiarity with data governance principles and practices within a regulated financial environment. Exposure to data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau) to present analytical insights. Experience with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow). Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
