Job description

As a Lead Digital Analyst, you'll lead a team of analysts delivering actionable insights and analytics solutions for a specific business domain within TUI. You'll translate business requirements into analytical approaches, manage the delivery of high-quality analytics outputs, and ensure that insights drive measurable business value while serving as the primary analytics point of contact for stakeholders in your domain, building strong relationships and championing data-driven decision making., * You'll lead and manage a team of analysts, assigning and prioritizing work based on business impact, providing guidance on analytical approaches, reviewing team outputs, establishing performance metrics, and ensuring timely delivery of analytics projects and initiatives.

  • We'll look to you to translate business questions and requirements into effective analytical approaches, working with stakeholders to clarify business questions, designing analytical frameworks, developing hypotheses and testing approaches, and ensuring insights lead to clear recommendations connected to business KPIs.
  • You'll build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, conducting regular meetings, presenting insights and recommendations, proactively identifying opportunities for analytics to add value, managing expectations, and acting as the analytics domain expert.
  • Developing and implementing analytics strategies and roadmaps for your domain will be key as you create quarterly and annual analytics plans, identify key initiatives and priorities, align with business objectives, collaborate on cross-domain initiatives, and evaluate analytics tools and technologies.
  • Your leadership skills will be essential as you coach and develop team members, conducting one-on-one meetings, providing constructive feedback, identifying training needs and skill gaps, creating development plans, and recognizing high performance.
  • The role involves establishing and maintaining analytics best practices, documenting methodologies, implementing quality assurance processes, standardizing reporting formats, ensuring consistent use of definitions and metrics, and promoting reusable analytics assets.
  • You'll collaborate with other analytics teams and functions, participating in cross-functional initiatives, sharing insights and methodologies, identifying collaboration opportunities, contributing to analytics communities of practice, and aligning on common tools and approaches.
  • Monitoring and reporting on the impact and value of analytics initiatives will be important as you track and measure business impact, create dashboards on analytics performance, identify opportunities to scale successful initiatives, document success stories, and quantify value delivered through analytics.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Tableau?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * You have a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics) or equivalent experience, with proven experience in analytics or related fields and team leadership experience.

  • You bring strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights, along with experience using analytics and visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Google Analytics.
  • You possess excellent communication, presentation, and data storytelling skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences and present results to senior stakeholders.
  • You have excellent SQL skills and working knowledge of Python or similar scripting languages, with a solid understanding of predictive statistical analytics techniques like regression and clustering.
  • You demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships at various levels, along with project management experience and a problem-solving mindset focused on delivering business value.
  • Experience in travel or e-commerce industries, and knowledge of multiple analytics domains would be advantageous as well as understanding of statistical methods, machine learning concepts, data governance principles, and experience mentoring junior analysts would be beneficial.
