Job description
To support our growing presence in Europe, we are looking for a Key User to join our team in Mechelen, Belgium. A Key User is responsible for first line IT support with focus on the Warehouse Management System. What you do on a typical day - Key User
- Ensure the optimal and correct use of the Warehouse Management System on site
- Identify and troubleshoot system issues
- Investigate and test new system implementations; detect discrepancies and propose effective solutions
- Monitor and follow up on open IT issue tickets to ensure timely resolution
- Observe and assess operational processes to identify and support both system-based and operational improvements
- Support warehouse operations and other onsite business units with WMS interface-related requests
- Translate operational requirements into functional system specifications
- Serve as the main point of contact between operations, IT, and external stakeholders for all WMS-related topics.
- Define and execute User Acceptance Test (UAT) scenarios and test cases; define KPIs and reporting.
- Explain new functionality to end users and assist them in understanding delivered changes and required configurations. (SOP, documentation)
- Provide end-user training on WMS processes and updates.
- Investigate, manage and escalate multiple tickets based on priority and severity to the right stakeholder.

Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role within a logistics environment
- Experience on implementations and continuous improvement
- Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Detail orientated strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of logistics and warehouse processes
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Fluent English, basic Dutch as an additional
