Job description
- Implement, manage, and optimise VMware and/or Hyper-V environments
- Maintain host clusters, storage integrations, and virtual networking
- Configure and maintain firewalls
- Support routing, switching, VLANs, and network segmentation
- Manage secure VPN access for remote users and branch sites
- Administer Windows Server environments
- Handle system updates, patching, and security hardening
- Administer Microsoft 365 suite (Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Power BI, Teams, etc.)
- Support SQL databases and other critical cloud-based business applications
- Provide training and guidance to end-users
- Monitor system performance and resolve complex issues
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans
- Implement security controls to meet compliance and industry standards
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for procedures, configurations, and IT policies
Requirements
Do you have experience in Virtualization?, * At least 6 years of customer-facing IT support experience
- Proven track record as an Infrastructure Engineer or in a similar technical role
- Strong expertise in virtualisation technologies (VMware and/or Hyper-V)
- In-depth knowledge of networking fundamentals and core protocols
- Solid experience with Windows Server administration and Microsoft 365

As a 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a central role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, resilient IT infrastructure across multiple manufacturing sites. You will provide expert-level support for servers, networks, cloud services, virtualisation, Wi-Fi, and end-user technologies, ensuring alignment with business operations and high availability.
