Job description
FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Data Scientist to work for our client within the finance sector. This is initially a 6month contract with very good prospects to extend and will be a Hybrid role that will be based in London., Our client is seeking a Data Analyst to enable client's GRC uplift by providing the data backbone for AI governance workflows, inventory, lineage, evidence capture, AI incident signals, and integration with Microsoft + M7., Connecting data sources M7 workflows
- Power BI dashboards for the PoV/PoC model.
- Creating the AI model inventory and metadata structure.
- Designing evidence: drift metrics, performance signals, model artefacts, transparency attributes.
- Ensuring the PoV generates regulator-credible data (audit trail, lineage, thresholds).
- Create/validate model inventories and metadata schemas.
- Define and produce AI evidence packs (input data, outputs, fairness, performance).
- Support AI incident management through detection rules, thresholds, logs.
- Build PoV-level data pipelines into Power BI / Microsoft ecosystem
- Work with M7 specialists to integrate model artefacts into workflows.
Requirements
Do you have experience in SQL?, * Background in ML engineering, AI ops, or data science in FS/RegTech.
- Strong in Python, SQL, cloud (Azure preferred), model monitoring.
- Understands AI governance concepts (risk tiers, explainability, fairness).
- Able to translate data/ML structures into GRC evidence patterns.
- Experience building model monitoring / logging / drift detection.
- Ability to produce audit-ready artefacts for regulators.
- Experience integrating with Microsoft stack or similar for reporting.
