This will suit a solid OpenShift / Kubernetes infrastructure engineer who has moved into cloud native 'data protection' or a NetBackup/Commvault specialist that has evolved into OpenShift / Kubernetes platforms. We're looking for a hands-on OpenShift Engineer with deep Kubernetes infrastructure expertise and strong enterprise backup experience to join a large-scale transformation. This is not a generic DevOps role as you'll be leading cloud-native data protection strategy across OpenShift clusters - protecting container workloads and OpenShift Virtualization VMs using Veritas NetBackup and Commvault. If you've worked at the intersection of Kubernetes infrastructure and enterprise backup platforms, this long term contract role is for you! 6-10+ years infrastructure background

Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift (OCP)

Proven administration of NetBackup (10.x ideally) in Kubernetes environments OR strong Commvault Kubernetes protection experience

Deep understanding of: o Kubernetes operators o CSI / PV / PVC lifecycle o Cluster-level RBAC o Virtual machine protection in OpenShift (KubeVirt / OpenShift Virtualization)

RHEL + scripting (Python / Shell) Nice to haves:

OADP / Velero experience

NetBackup Flex Appliances

Experience in highly regulated enterprise environments
