Job description
Join the Future System Architecture team and help shape next-generation satellite connectivity. As a System Engineer, you will design and integrate complex space systems combining space, ground, and mission segments. From concept to operational deployment, you will ensure technical consistency and performance across all domains.
This position requires eligibility for French national security clearance under Articles R.2311-1 and IGI 1300 SGDSN/PSE (August 9, 2021)., As a system engineer/architect for, your day-to-day will consist of:
Requirements & Architecture

Capture and formalize customer needs into system-level requirements.

Define technical impacts across space, ground, and mission segments.

Lead requirement allocation and ensure traceability.
Integration & Validation
-
Drive co-engineering workshops with stakeholders (payload, ground network, antennas, mission chain).

Oversee integration and verification activities (FlatSat, end-to-end IVV).
-
Perform architecture trade-offs and performance analysis (coverage, latency, throughput).
Compliance & Coordination
-
Ensure compliance with security and certification frameworks (DR-SF, ANSSI/DGA).

Act as technical interface with suppliers and subcontractors.

Support procurement processes and evaluate supplier compliance.
Innovation & Documentation
-
Produce high-quality technical documentation (ICD, CONOPS, system specs).

Contribute to optimization roadmaps and integratenew technologies.

Provide technicalexpertiseand training to customer-facing teams.
Requirements
You are an experienced system engineer with a strong background in satcom systems or other complex satellite system architectures, capable of driving end-to-end system design and bridging operational needs with technical solutions.
You thrive in multi-disciplinary environments and have a proven ability to manage complexity across multiple segments.

Strong understanding of system-level impacts and how they influence architecture choices.

Solid knowledge of network architecture and interoperability with mission systems.

Familiarity with constellation concepts and performance driversfor global service delivery.

Experience in military ordefenseprograms and mission-critical environments is a strong asset.

Comfortable working in multi-disciplinary teamscoordinating across payload, antennas, ground infrastructure, and mission planning.

Strong analytical skills and ability to translate operational needs into robust technical specifications for complex systems.

Collaborative mindset, able to engage effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, and customers., Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.

5-10 years of experience inspace system engineering(LEO experience is a plus).

Fluency in French and English (mandatory).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work across all engineering phases: requirements, design, integration, validation, operations.

Experience inmulti-stakeholder coordinationand cross-functional teams.

French nationalityrequiredfor security clearance.
