Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical MRO Storefront Data Analyst to support the development, accuracy, and scalability of data across the MRO Storefront organisation. This role will play a key part in enabling data-driven decision making, supporting performance visibility, and improving operational efficiency through robust data management and reporting.

The Data Analyst will work closely with the MRO Storefront Manager, Team Leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders to design, build, and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools that reflect the performance of the end-to-end Storefront process-from induction through invoicing and cash collection.

A significant focus of the role will be on improving data quality, consistency, and governance, as well as supporting automation initiatives to reduce manual reporting effort and enhance real-time visibility. The role requires strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights., * Develop, maintain, and continuously improve Storefront KPIs and performance dashboards across Quality, Cost, Delivery, Cash, and Customer metrics.

  • Build and manage reporting tools using Excel, Tableau, and other data platforms.
  • Analyse operational data to identify trends, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems (e.g. SAP, MRO Life, and reporting tools).
  • Support the definition and standardisation of data structures, definitions, and governance rules.
  • Work closely with Storefront leadership to translate business needs into clear reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Automate recurring reports and data extraction processes to reduce manual workload.
  • Support root cause analysis of operational issues through data insights.
  • Collaborate with Digital Technology (DT) and other functions to improve data integration and system usability.
  • Provide clear, structured insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing data-driven input and tracking performance impact.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a data analyst or similar analytical role within an operational or service-driven environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level, including data modelling, pivot tables, and formulas).
  • Experience using Tableau (or similar BI tools) to build dashboards and visualisations.
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to interpret complex datasets.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to structure and present data in a clear, concise, and actionable way.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable skills and experience:

  • Experience working with SAP, MRO Life, or similar ERP/MRO systems.
  • Exposure to aerospace, MRO, or aftermarket environments.
  • Knowledge of KPI frameworks within operations (e.g. QCDP, turnaround time, backlog, cash).
  • Experience with data automation tools or scripting (e.g. Power Query, Power BI, SQL).
  • Familiarity with Continuous Improvement or Lean methodologies.
