IT Infrastructure Engineer

Supports information technology activities and initiatives across the firm, including:

Infrastructure

·Install, configure, and support LAN/WAN networks, servers, network devices, and associated systems

·Maintain network hardware, software, and peripherals, including evaluating and modifying system performance

·Monitor infrastructure components to support system availability and performance

·Perform 2nd- and 3rd-line diagnostic and resolution activities within the defined scope of responsibility

·Carry out routine server and system administration tasks

·Manage user accounts, system permissions, and service configurations

·Implement network and system security measures, including firewalls, encryption, and access controls

·Document infrastructure configurations, changes, issue resolutions, and performance metrics

·Produce and maintain technical and operational documentation

·Provide technical guidance on correct use of systems and equipment

·Recommend upgrades and improvements to maintain or enhance infrastructure performance

·3+ years Microsoft Windows Server build, configuration, administration and troubleshooting

·VMware vCloud Director configuration and administration

·Extensive knowledge of Microsoft AlwaysOn VPN, Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online

·SAML configuration

·Microsoft Intune configuration

·Microsoft SQL Server build and management

·Microsoft Entra/Azure AD hybrid management

·Microsoft Group Policy creation and amendment

·Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues at 2nd and 3rd line levels

·Understanding of cybersecurity measures relevant to infrastructure environments

·Clear written communication for documentation and reporting
