Job description

We are looking for a versatile and hands-on Data Analyst to support two major initiatives: the development of a new "off-the-shelf" BI product and a group-wide ERP implementation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in evolving environments, and is comfortable working with both legacy systems and modern BI tools.

You will play a key part in shaping how data is structured, understood, and used across the organisation - ensuring accuracy, consistency, and meaningful insights for end-users., Business Intelligence & Reporting

  • Work with product managers to define standard KPIs and dashboards for a new BI solution.
  • Help design intuitive, user-focused reporting that delivers real value to operational and commercial teams.

ERP Data Migration & Master Data

  • Support the ERP implementation team by mapping data from legacy systems into a new group-wide Sage 200 environment.
  • Develop and run SQL scripts to extract, cleanse, validate, and prepare data for import.
  • Collaborate with external partners to ensure data consistency between the ERP system and third-party applications.

Data Quality & Governance

  • Identify and resolve data quality issues such as duplicates, orphans, and formatting errors before they reach production.
  • Maintain clear documentation and communicate proactively with stakeholders when issues arise or plans change.
  • Contribute to improving data processes, especially in areas where structure is still developing.

Collaboration & Ways of Working

  • Work closely with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to translate business needs into data models and reporting outputs.
  • Operate effectively in environments with ambiguity, helping shape better processes while still delivering at pace.
  • Demonstrate and reinforce core values: focusing on priorities, delivering results, supporting growth, and collaborating across teams.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Sage?, You are a data-driven problem solver who enjoys getting into the detail as much as you enjoy building clean, user-friendly dashboards. You're comfortable working with older systems, modern BI tools, and everything in between. You understand that data tells a story - and you know how to uncover it.

Experience & Skills

  • Experience managing ETL workstreams for ERP implementations.
  • Background in designing or supporting "off-the-shelf" BI solutions, with a focus on standardised KPIs and user-centric dashboards.
  • Ability to work with both technical developers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into data structures and reporting outputs.
  • Strong understanding of ERP master data, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in SQL for extraction, transformation, and validation tasks.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in evolving or partially defined processes.
