Job description
We're looking for a detail-driven Systems and Data Administrator to help keep our organisation running smoothly. You'll be the go-to person for maintaining our core digital systems, ranging from finance tools to field-management platforms, and ensuring the data behind them is accurate, reliable, and ready for use.
In this varied role, you'll manage digital forms and workflows, support colleagues across the business, troubleshoot issues, and help us get the most out of our systems. If you enjoy solving problems, working with data, and making systems work better for people, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll do:
- Own the identification, investigation, and resolution of data discrepancies, including root cause analysis and prevention of errors.
- Own and proactively monitor system integrations, imports/exports, and automated data transfers, resolving any reconciliation issues between platforms.
- Identify and implement workflow and process improvements, reducing manual effort through system enhancements and road-mapping.
- Oversee data security, GDPR compliance, end-user system administration, and documentation of systems, data definitions, core processes and data flows.
- Administer multiple business systems (bespoke and off-the-shelf) and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all platforms.
- Manage digital forms, templates, price bands, and operational workflows used by field and office teams.
- Troubleshoot system issues, liaising with software vendors where required, and support upgrades, configuration changes, and new feature rollouts.
- Produce operational and financial reports and dashboards, providing clear, reliable data insights.
- Train staff on system use and best practices and maintain up-to-date documentation for processes, configurations, and data standards.
- Maintain full oversight of data flows across systems (e.g., finance, field service, internal platforms) to ensure a single, consistent version of the truth.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Root cause analysis?, * Experience working with multiple business systems and data flows (e.g. finance, CRM, field service)
- Strong data skills, including Excel and data imports/exports
- Ability to identify, investigate, and resolve data issues
- Experience administering systems (users, permissions, configuration)
- Clear communicator, able to explain technical concepts simply
- Proactive mindset with a focus on improving processes and data accuracy
Desirable:
- Experience with system integrations or APIs (even at a basic level)
- Experience with reporting tools or dashboards (e.g. Power BI, system reporting modules)
