Head of IT - Geneva

We are seeking a Head of IT for our biotech production site and Headquarters in Meyrin. Reporting directly to the Chief Technical Officer, you will lead a team of 17 people. Your mission is to define and drive the IT vision and strategy, and to ensure robust, secure and compliant IT operations that effectively support business priorities and enterprise digital initiatives.

Your main responsibilities are as follows:

• Define and lead the IT vision, mission and strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Hold overall accountability for strategic planning and execution across all IT functions
• Act as the key IT contact for Executive Committee members, first-line functions and external stakeholders
• Lead IT contribution to company projects and cross-functional initiatives
• Oversee the identification, implementation and operations of technology solutions, systems and tools, including infrastructure and cybersecurity
• Ensure GxP, risk management and security compliance across the full lifecycle of relevant systems and components
• Own IT governance, KPI dashboards, reporting and performance monitoring
• Manage IT CAPEX and OPEX, ensuring cost-effective investments and resource allocation
• Lead enterprise digital initiatives and foster innovation while maintaining operational excellence
• Develop, coach and engage the IT organization to deliver performance and strengthen capabilities
• Define and maintain an IT organizational structure, departmental goals and operating procedures
• Manage sourcing and external service providers, and assess and communicate risks associated with IT investments and initiative

To carry out this mission, we are looking for an hands-on candidate bringing the following profile

Do you have experience in Project management?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Master's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

• At least 5 years' experience in people management, ideally within small to mid-size teams
• Proven hands-on experience in IT roles, with a strong technical background (infrastructure, applications, security)
• Solid experience in IT program/project management; agile methodologies are an asset
• Proven track record in managing external service and solution providers
• Experience in controlling IT budgets (CAPEX and OPEX)
• Fluent in French and English, written and spoken
• Ability to lead cross-department projects and engage effectively with senior stakeholders, including Executive Committee members
