BI Developer / Datawarehouse Developer

This is a newly created role to join our expanding data team at one of Yorkshire's fastest growing groups. There is a growing requirement for accurate, consistent MI across the business. Ensuring their Data Warehouse is efficiently built, continually developed and maintained effectively is key to delivering this., * Working with stakeholders (primarily the wider BI and IT teams) to illicit clear requirements and understand their impact on the wider Warehouse structure.

• Building and maintaining the Data Warehouse tables, stored procedures, views etc.
• Documenting changes and maintaining relevant Metadata in relation to the warehouse.
• Acts as a conduit to understand the impact of wider business changes on the warehouse and data available for reporting.
• Other ad-hoc duties as and when required by the business.

A highly organised individual, with excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to their work including. An effective communicator, able to deal with colleagues in a professional and confident manner. Able to adapt to changing conditions and be a quick learner. Must have the ability to prioritise and work to strict deadlines as well as the drive to expand their knowledge as appropriate.

• MSSQL (SSIS, SSMS)
• Tableau (desirable)
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• MSSQL / Developer Qualifications
• Numerate BSc (e.g. Maths, Computer Science) or equivalent experience
