Job description
We are looking for a Manufacturing Systems Specialist to collect, analyse, and present data that informs operational and business decisions on a full-time permanent basis. The role will be site based in Hereford and requires expertise in data analysis, Power BI, and SAP, with strong analytical and IT skills to support management and improve business practices. You will be collaborating with cross-functional teams including Operations, Finance, Sales, and Commercial working with large datasets to produce actionable insights, * Collecting, analysing, and presenting data via graphs, charts, tables, and reports,
- Opportunity to develop and maintain Power BI models, reports, and dashboards
- Support strategic decision-making through accurate and timely data analysis
- Performing statistical analysis and identifying trends and correlations
- Producing routine Power BI management reports, including TOC lines, Daily Flex, Sales, Arrears, Backlog, CJV, and Spend reports
- Creating, maintaining, and updating Power BI models, paginated reports, and quarterly TOC plans
- Managing TOC master data and ensuring data integrity
- Translating sales forecasts into detailed factory work content regarding ESH and throughput
- Liaising with Commercial, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure forecasts and data inputs are accurate and current
- Responding to ad-hoc report and data requests from across the business
- Creating new materials in SAP and resolving data quality issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in statistical analysis, working with data sets, data analysis tools, and relational databases
- Strong Power BI knowledge, including DAX, Power Query, dataflows, workspace/app management, and paginated reports
- Advanced Excel skills, including VBA and Power Query,
- Working knowledge of SAP and ability to query data tables with SQL
- Experience with Power Automate for report distribution
- Understanding of finance concepts related to factory operations (work centres, cost centres, internal orders, cost/absorption rates, ESH, standard costing, revenue recognition)
- Familiarity with TOC concepts is desirable
- Excellent communication skills to present findings to stakeholders
- Detail-oriented, logical thinker with the ability to work independently

- Salary: £33'000k - 39'000 per annum plus quarterly bonus
