Role: ASP Service Deputy / IT Support Operations Lead

About the Role

As Deputy to the Head of the ASP (Asset Stock & Purchase) Service, you will take on a hybrid role combining administrative, financial, technical, and people management responsibilities.

The ASP service operates within the IT department (Infrastructure, Datacom & Security) and provides transversal support services across all IT teams.

Key Responsibilities Support the ASP Service Manager in all aspects of team management, including: Monitoring, coaching, and supporting team members Acting as first point of escalation for issues or questions Managing team planning and workload distribution Organizing weekly team meetings and monthly face-to-face sessions Participate in recruitment processes and onboarding of new team members Ensure proper implementation of procedures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including: Maintaining structured, up-to-date documentation Managing version control and archiving Supporting process automation where relevant Support and manage software license ordering processes: Assist the team during peak workload periods Independently handle complex requests requiring deeper expertise Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Monthly reporting at department level Weekly reporting for the ASP team Identify and correct inconsistencies within data systems Lead small-scale process improvement initiatives: Within IT (e.g. database improvements) Cross-functional collaboration (e.g. HR, Procurement) From requirements definition through to final evaluation

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience, ideally including team coordination or management Bachelor's degree or equivalent Fluent in either French or Dutch, with good knowledge of the second national language and English Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with SAP Basic understanding of IT concepts and terminology Good knowledge of license management processes (software, subscriptions, renewals)
