Job description
As an IT Support & System Administrator, you will ensure the stability, security, and smooth operation of all IT systems supporting our engineering and robotics development teams. Your responsibilities include:
- Managing and maintaining workstations, servers, networks, and peripheral devices across the company
- Performing hardware and software troubleshooting, diagnosing issues, and implementing sustainable solutions
- Ensuring data security through backup strategies, access control, and system monitoring
- Administering Windows and Linux Server environments, including user management, updates, and configuration
- Installing, updating, and maintaining IT applications, development tools, and engineering software
- Providing hands-on IT support for employees, including CAD users and general IT application support
- Supporting IT infrastructure projects, system upgrades, migrations, and integration of new technologies
- Collaborating closely with engineering and robotics teams to ensure high availability and reliability of development environments
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
- Solid understanding of Windows workstations, engineering servers, and peripheral devices
- Knowledge of networking basics (LAN, VPN, DNS, firewall concepts)
- Experience with backup strategies, data security best practices, and version control systems
- Experience in software installation, update, and patch management
- Understanding of Windows & Linux Server environments
Nice-to-have:
- Experience supporting engineering or hardware development teams
- Knowledge of automation or scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines or automated engineering workflows
- Exposure to CAD/PLM environments (bonus but not required)
