Job description

  • Ensure all systems used by the Contract Management Team remain effective, reliable, and fit for purpose.
  • Work proactively with the Contract Management Team to identify opportunities for improvement within system applications, collaborating closely with IT and Application teams to deliver enhancements.
  • Act as the Contract Management Team's Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all applications (e.g., Intapp, Business Central, TRAMPs, Dwellant), including any future systems introduced.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for resolving application-related issues affecting the Contract Management Team.
  • Support the CMT Business Analyst with system development initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
  • Identify data gaps and take appropriate action to ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
  • Help ensure business requirements are clearly understood, documented, and reflected in solution design and implementation.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) when required.
  • Design and implement processes that meet client and business needs, and deliver training to colleagues on their use.
  • Produce clear, user-friendly manuals, instructional guides and short videos to support consistent processes.

Requirements

You will need strong IT skills with advanced Excel knowledge, experience with Macros and Power Query is highly desirable. The successful candidate will be proficient in Power BI with a good financial awareness. You must be an excellent communicator with the ability to manage client relationships. As a strong team player, you need the ability to work in a busy environment, comfortable with multi-tasking, communicating directly with internal stakeholders and external contractors and working under pressure to meet deadlines. Experience with analytical tools, property management systems and GIS data enabled systems are desirable but not essential.

About the company

Our Contract Management Team are looking for a motivated Data Analyst to join us in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident, analytical and proactive individual to play a key role in shaping, developing and enhancing the systems and reporting capability within one of the fastest-growing areas of Carter Jonas. In this role, you will support the design, implementation and continual improvement of reporting systems for both internal and external stakeholders. You'll work closely with colleagues across the Contract Management Team, IT, Applications, and wider business functions to ensure our systems remain effective, reliable and aligned with the needs of our clients and our people. You will join a team of 16 professionals, including administrators, coordinators, analysts, and managers.
